This entire adventure began on October 23rd, 2000. Walking through the halls of SST, Lesly was introduced to a young man with a shaved head and big eyes. She did a triple take and thought to herself "there’s something different about this guy". A slight connection was felt, but both were in separate relationships so, just friends is where it started.

Over the years, the two leaned on each other whenever it was necessary and offered advice back and forth on so many life topics. Soon enough they discovered their beliefs and ideas were very similar. Lesly came with “baggage” according to most, but Aaron’s desire for a family made him a perfect fit.

When Lesly and Ana Grace needed a new home... Aaron stepped in to help just as he had done many times before. "The dup" in Mountain View was available beginning July 2004. In September of the same year, Aaron moved in the back unit.

Every day is a gift and we are thankful our lives were pointed in the same direction with the chance to form this family, keeping faith as our foundation.
