Our Parents
For both of us, our family is our backbone. We'd like to thank you for everything you've done for us throughout our lives.

I am biased because I think I have the greatest parents in the world. My mom and dad have always been supportive of me. I highly value their opinion, and I frequently come to them for advice, even when I might already know the answer. Growing up, they instilled in me the importance of being a believer in our Lord Jesus Christ, and for that I am thankful, as I have accepted the Lord greatest gift.
I hope and pray that I will acquire my mom’s selflessness and giving abilities. She always puts everyone else first. My mother is a very hard worker, and she is such a great steward for our Lord Jesus Christ. It seems my mother is the go to person when things are going wrong. She some how always takes on other obligations despite her own.
My father is also very patient, and giving. He has a very strong work ethic and a gift for organization. He is a man of faith and a man of many puns. I believe I have inherited this trait. He also has a love for the outdoors, which is why it is hard for me to stay indoors. I enjoy the love, the laughter, and the relationship I have with my parents. I am truly blessed.

The older I get, the more I realize how blessed I am to be a part of my family. My dad is one of the smartest people I know. His Bible knowledge blows me away, and I think I can attribute part of my strong sense of right and wrong to his influence. My dad has always been supportive of every endeavor I've decided to pursue, and I know no matter what I decide to do as a career he will be proud of me. I admire Dad's artistic abilities and I feel maybe I got some of my creative side from him.
My mom has been my rock, my advisor and my friend and I wouldn't be the person I am today without her love and direction. Mom is one of the most generous people I know in every way, and I hope to follow her example with my time and resources. My mom is hard working, caring and wise, and always willing to talk no matter the hour. I hope to be as strong and resilient a person in life circumstances as she is and I hope to be as good a mother as she is someday. I'm so grateful for her support in every aspect of my life.
