Abigail and Zach

About Us

If you are reading this, you most likely know us. :-) But just in case it's been awhile since we've caught up, here's a bit about the bride and groom.

Hi, my name is Abby and I love horses. :-) Seriously, that's me in a nutshell. I graduated from Texas A&M University in 2006 after riding on their NCAA National Champion Equestrian Team with a degree in Ag Science and a (much-used) minor in Ag Journalism. I continued my lifelong passion for horses on into my career immediately after college. I'm an assistant editor for the American Paint Horse Association's four magazines, where I get to write about and take photos of horses for a living. It's still my dream job! I live in Fort Worth with my two cats Alfred and Pierre(soon to be adopted by Zach :-)) and I ride my Quarter Horse Willy whenever I get the chance. Zach, God, family and friends are the most important things to me in life. I love to read--I'm a bit of a bookworm. Pride and Prejudice is my favorite movie of all time. I love to travel, and that's one of the major passions Zach and I share. I think part of my heart belongs in France and Italy. Coffee is nectar from heaven. I love to take photos and learn more about photography. Finally, I'm a big fan of squirrels. :-)

God's blessed me beyond measure by bringing Zach into my life. I couldn't have picked a better partner for myself, so I'm so thankful that my Lord knows best. In Zach I truly have found my best friend and my true love. I admire his work ethic and I love the way he leads our relationship closer towards Christ. In addition to his stunning good looks, Zach makes me laugh all the time, and I adore his sweet spirit and big heart. Zach cherishes me and I feel like I'm the luckiest girl in the world to get to spend my life with him. We have many common interests and share the same values, and we just love being with each other. I'm so looking forward to marrying my soulmate and starting the next chapter in our lives together.

Hello, my name is Zach G. Boatwright and I think squirrels are the funniest and most amusing creatures!
I had the privilege of graduating from the University of the Ozarks in 2004. I played and captained the men’s soccer team. We won the Eastern conference division, and got into the NCAA tournament while I was there. I also ran on the cross-country team. I got my degree in political science with a directive study in International Trade Law. I also minored in Marketing / Administration with an almost double minor in Art and Architecture. (Just a few hours shy) After college I decided to follow my life dream to play soccer and model overseas in Florence, Italy. While in Italy I studied architecture through Syracuse University. After breaking three of my toes two weeks into my trip to Italy, my soccer dreams ended abruptly. I returned to the states still in pursuit of my soccer dream. In 2004 I also became a personal trainer for 24 Hour Fitness while playing soccer. By the time 2007 rolled around a beautiful friend of mine named Abby Wilder moved to Ft. Worth. I also started to work for D-Jones Tailored Collection, which is a fantastic tailoring company. (Thanks Drew) Abby, God, family, and friends are my backbone. Without these people in my life I would be lost. I love to be outside, so anything outdoors I am usually up for doing. Sports have been a big part of my life especially soccer. Going to see new places and people is what I love to do in my free time, and I am thankful Abby loves to do this as well.

Abby has been the greatest blessing to my life. I am thankful for her and the support and confidence she gives me. I know she always has my back. Abby is a very accomplished writer at APHA (American Paint Horse Association), which is a magazine in Fort Worth. I love the fact that Abby gets my corny jokes and loves to laugh and just being with me. Our God has had a hand in every part of our relationship, and with His guidance and her confidence in me I look forward to our future together. I am so lucky to have Abby in my life.
