he pops THE question

we went to DC with the Times family for Obama's inauguration to be a part of history (in more ways than one!)
all weekend he was scouting places to pop the question. National Harbor turned out to be the spot! it was beautiful!!
she says NO
just kidding!
the sun was setting over the Potomac River
the lights around the city started to come on
it was freakin cold! (this, was not so beautiful...)
they were out on the dock, taking pictures - silly pictures - pretending to be at prom, doing the robot, then all of a sudden - she turns around and there he is, down on one knee with the ring in his hand!
