Time For DIY!

Doing a DIY wedding is a pretty hectic ordeal. Not knowing much about crafts in the first place was a bit of a hindrance, but with Duo's support, I've managed pretty well, I think.

Invitation

Invitation

The finished invitation, minus the black border. The invites were bought at Michael's for $25; they are a simple white invitation with an embossed black border. I designed the invite myself, downloaded a few interesting fonts (the main text is Gorey and the names are in Charmed, both which were downloaded online), watermarked a clipart image of a German castle to the background, and here is the finished product.

RSVP Card

RSVP Card

The RSVP card was a little more trying than the invite as I wanted to remain in theme but I didn't want to use another castle. It took a little bit of thinking, but I finally decided on a Cinderella Slipper watermarked image, which I've actually recieved compliments on! The wording, I must confess, was not completely my own, I got the idea online from a website that specializes in invitation and RSVP card wording.

Again, shown without the black border, though these were a part of the set with the invitations and therefore also have an embossed black border around the edge.
