Doc (Alex) and I met at a time when everybody would say -"it's the wrong time". We were both coming from relationships that caused us great heartaches. So, we were not looking out for someone new then but God just made our paths cross to be a blessing for each other. We became friends with time passing as if it was already forever. We believed that it was a match made in heaven - every conversation opened doors to a new life, hope of a great future and the dream of having "the one" sent from above.

On February 14, 2002, he made it official by not just asking me to be his girlfriend but to be his wife. I said yes! We were both not sure of what the future will hold but we had peace in our hearts. With faith and love, we both held on to a dream of a great future and hoped for that day we start living our forever.

But the days were not always sunny and bright. Our hopes and dreams were kept by a lot of circumstances and responsibilities in life which separated us for a while. But through all the waiting and pains of uncertainty and distance, we both still held on to our one dream... one hope...

and so after eight years, we made a promise to celebrate our love made ONE by God on a ONE perfect day.... JANUARY 14, 2011.

December 01, 2002 - engagement made official by a ring. yey! a wonderful gift for my birthday. :-)
2003 to 2006 - wedding plans and dates ON and OFF
2006 to 2007 - NO wedding plans, aileen preparing to leave for Canada, Lost my engagement ring.. huhuhu :-(
May 2007 - Alex gave me a new engagement ring on my despedida party.
June 02, 2007 - Aileen left for Canada
2007 to 2009 - Wedding dreaming... :-)
April 25,2009 - Pamamanhikan (the meeting of Ancheta and Alan families)
February 09, 2010 - wedding date discussed at pamamanhikan. cancelled
August 10, 2009 - aileen proposed a new wedding date to Alex - July 10, 2010 sorry, cancelled again... :-(
January 25, 2010 - by hook or by crook... we decided on a wedding date - January 15, 2011.

but then, CRL is already booked on that day... so we have to re: date (again, hay!)- JANUARY 14, 2011.But this turned out to be a blessing actually as day 14 is significant in our relationship... so, it's final... THIS IS IT!
