It was at the ice-breaking night in the university when I first get to know the existence of *ahem* Mr. Alexis (troubled at beginning trying to identify if it is either a he or she name!). Each of us had written our name down on a given piece of paper to be placed in a box. Like drawing lots, we then draw a piece of paper from the box and began the search for the person to return his / her 'name card'.

Although I don't believe in Love at first sight, I always thought that 'the one' for me will be someone that will give me a good and lasting first impression - Unfolding the name card on my palms, it's fate-written 'Alexis Tiong'. After a frantic and eager search for close to 30 minutes where time is almost up, I finally get a finger pointing at this tall, long fringed gentleman who appears to be in a deep conversation with his friends talking with his hand full of expression. I lightly tapped his shoulder from the back - I must have done this for at least 3 times before his friend kindly interrupted him to say I was behind him. I prepared myself with a friendly and tired smile, holding up the Alexis Tiong name card - only to be greeted with the back of his shoulder. In lightning speed, he took the name card and continued his deep conversation. *dumb struck for a minute* Hmph, not even a small thank you or smile! My first impression - not a gentleman! Ironically, I thought to myself the very next minute that this guy may not be a real gentleman, but can be a secure boyfriend since he does not give any thought even when a *ahem* pretty girl approach him! ^_^ I guess that must have been the very same reason that drew my attention to him! His first data stored in the KIV memory bank.

After 2 months, we met again at the basketball court in the sports center. I was minding my own business unsuccessfully aiming at the basket when a coach like sound from the back says - "This is not the right way to play basketball". I tried my level best to hide a chuckle - the cantonese was off the keys! Common for Sarawakians. We started talking from then on...he said that was the first time he noticed me - poor invisible girl who spent all effort went round looking for Alexis at the night of ice breaking. He never told me what made him noticed me but my girlfriends up to now still insists that it was the white hot pants that I was wearing in the sports center that did the job!

About Him:
Why I love Alex - Most important point 1 is that I feel 100% secure with him. I always feel that he puts me in his No. 1 in everything he do and from the bottom of my heart i really appreciate it. To me, he may not be a very romantic boyfriend material but he is definately a wonderful husband material a.k.a my Mr. Right to whom I feel that I can give my 100%(^_^).

He is straight forward kind of person and his expression / look will never lie - you can tell how he feel or think from his face. First impression, he may not look like a very approachable person but in actual fact he can be very helpful and he takes responsibility in everything he do - if he decides to put his mind to it! Like all aries, he can be a bit stubborn and always go heads first to all things :).

I am thankful to God for sending Alex to guide me, care for me, support me and to love me for who I am. Looking forward to our future to Live, Laugh and to Love; together as husband & wife...

About Her:
The way I look at Michelle, she is someone simple and she makes me feel comfortable. The most important thing, she will always listen to me and be with me no matter how difficult the situation I am in. We have been through a lot of ups and downs and I really appreciate the fact that I have met someone whom I think I can share all my happiness and sadness with. Of course, I wish I can spend the rest of my life with this wonderful lady with me till the end of my life.

Being the 4th couple in queue in Sibu Department of Registries on 08.09.08 early Monday morning, Alex, Myself and his parents were waiting for Counter 4 lady to call our number. We've arrived in Sibu the day before, to register today (08.09.08) and take the following flight back the next day. Sibu is much quieter where we can register in peace not having to beat the traffic jams and long queues in KL! We handed in our documentation and forms and hey within minutes we are already an official husband and wife in Malaysia government's record! We then went to the court to have our document stamped and verified before heading to the chinese assosiation for submission of the final paperwork. At about 3ish pm, we went to the chinese association to sign the Marriage Cert. for me to be Mrs Tiong - all done within a day! :)
