We had a block of rooms at this hotel, but the time has expired. I'm sure they still have availability, so you can just make reservations on your own. There is a starbucks in the lobby and is really close to walking to other restaurants and bars on Washington Ave. They also have a shuttle service with Lumiere Casino which is on the landing, which is a fun place to go out.
If you book a room here not with the block, then please let Dustin/Amy know so we can adequately plan.
We do not have a block of rooms reserved at this hotel, but it is directly next door to the Renaissance. So you would still be in a convenient location and be able to take advantage of the same shuttle service. If you book here, please let Dustin or Amy know so we can plan accordingly.
We personally thought the actual rooms here were the nicest of all the hotels we looked at, but the hotel building is just older and more of a boutique-style which may not appeal to all travellers. The rooms were renovated in 2007, so they are very clean, modern, and nice. I recommend going to www.kayak.com to check rates on this hotel. Below are the usual rates you can find:
$98.10 for a standard room with a King bed
$116 for a suite that has a King bed with a living area with a couch that pulls out into a bed. We thought these rooms were very nice and spacious! You get large plasmas in both the living room and bedroom.
You may be able to get the offer of - Buy one night, get the other for half price but you must ask for that special.
