The most precious gifts we could receive from our guests are their love, support, and presence at our ceremony. Gifts are NOT necessary or expected. However, if you feel so inclined, we ask that you consider making a donation to Equality NC, a statewide organization which works towards equal rights for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people or the Human Rights Campaign, a national grassroots organization which "advocates on behalf of LGBT Americans, mobilizes grassroots actions in diverse communities, invests strategically to elect fair-minded individuals to office and educates the public about LGBT issues."

We made a Target online registry because people kept asking us what they could get for *us*. However, we'd still prefer that people donate to the above mentioned organizations and we'd like to again stress that gifts are not at all necessary!
