Andy and Heather met through a band that they both love. Well, Heather “loves,” Andy “likes.” Anyhow, it all started with “The Band.” Since Andy lived in Texas and Heather lived in Washington state, it was a long distance relationship for about 10 months before Heather moved to Austin, Texas, to be with Andy. They haven't been apart since.

Opposites with a capital O! Andy is more into comics and Heather into make-up – they still can't figure out why they get along so well. All they know is they like to call each other funny nicknames such as “goobersaurus” and “handitard,” and can't imagine the world without one another.

So, after approximately two years and two months, they have decided that this is a union meant to last. As Heather has often said when describing “Our Story,” it seems to be filled with new beginnings, healing and growth. This is just another stage in their lives, but it is one that they plan on looking forward to reaching together.
