-A favorite memory of Malia:
I have 2: the day she called and told me she was engaged and how happy she sounded. You could feel her joy over the phone!!
The other memory is when she told me that she loved Andrew. It was a time of new love and wonderful times ahead for two people that just seemed to fit together.

-A favorite memory of Andrew:
I have 3: The day Malia came home and told me that he had taken a balloon and card over to a friend of hers whose dog had just gone through surgery. I was so touched by that gesture!!
The 2nd memory involves: a late night call to Folsom from Malia; Safeway; a video camera and a very cold bench (one of those stories to tell grandchildren).
The final memory is the devotion he showed Malia when her grandmother was in her last moments of life and he stayed with Malia at the hospital. I will never forget that about you Andrew!!!

Final Thoughts: I am so very happy that God had led both of you to find each other in this crazy world and put you on a journey that is only just beginning. May you be showered with blessings in your engagement and upcoming wedding.
