..memories for the TWO of us..
A: Exactly 3 months after I have joined UOB Travel Planner, came this new colleague, Fiona. The first time I saw her, I was like… “Hmm, ok, another new colleague has joined us”. I did not pay much attention to her and really treated her like any other normal colleagues. Life stills carry on as per normal… It was until one outing,.. the New Year 2006 countdown party… where I discovered I had some feel for her. From that day onwards, my entire life has changed for her.
F: All thanks to my BIG brother, Johnston, that I managed to get a job in UOB Travel Planners after my graduation in Year 2005. In fact we didn't lay any eyes on one another as we thought we are not meant for one another. Ironically, till a new year countdown outing at Shanghai disco.. we caught sight of each other and soon fell in love and started our dating mission once the clock striked 0000hrs on 01Jan2006... is so like a fairytale encounter.
A: After months of dating, I came to a conclusion that she is the one I’m looking out for.. hence I believed it is the time for me to move on to the next step. So I started to plan for a proposal and my first step was to give her a surprise by bringing her to a jewelry shop to buy her a proposal ring…
F: It was in the month of March 2007 when we were having our usual dating at Parco Bugis, Andrew suddenly brought me to a jewellery outlet. He was browing through some rings which i didn't pay much attention to until he asked me which one i would prefer.
"Oh my god, there goes my 'romantic' proposal which i always pin for," i thought. Even though i was disappointed but i was extremely contented and surprised by his approach to think that he is not a romantic guy afterall. In the end, I picked a 0.5 carat LeeHwa - "Perfect Bloom" solitaire and this is my dream of a proposal ring.
A: In mind I have planned to give her a dream proposal of all womens’. To bring her on a holiday and I have selected Banyan Tree Bintan because she has always wanted to stay there and it was tout as a romantic venue for couples and honeymooners. So I proceeded to make a reservation for 2 nights stay plus their highlight dinner – “Massage of the Senses”. Although I am not a romantic person but I knew a marriage proposal must be done at the right place, at the right time. Arranging the “Massage of the Senses would be the most ideal way to wand out my “Golden Question”!!!
F: It was during our holiday in Banyan Tree Bintan. I was brought to a soft sandy beach lit up with candles along the pathways with 2 prettily dressed masseurs smiling and waving at us.. There is a huge white covered tentage with flowers decoration and a nicely layout dining table with centrepiece. To then, i realised it was all his plan to give me a proposal i always craved after -- romantic ambience and dining under the glazing stars. We had a couple massage before our 8 course dinner under the sky. It was really my dream of proposal and i really love it. Really thanks 'him' for giving me what i wanted which is also what most women are dreaming for.
Below are our vows of exchange that we made to each other:
A: "I give you this ring as a symbol of my love and faithfulness. Wear it and think of me and know that i love you. As i placed it on your finger, i commit my heart and soul to you. I ask you to wear this ring as a reminder of the vows we have spoken today, our wedding day."
F: "Today as i give myself to you, my mind is clear and my commitment is strong. I take you to be my life partner. I promise to love and cherish you, to hold you close and to place you above all others. We will share a lifetime of eternal and immeasurable love."
To our valued guests whom we have invite,
We love to see you on 28Dec2008 to share this meaningful and joyous day with us.
With love,
Andrew and Fiona
