Getting to and around Frisco

The best choice for getting to Frisco from out of state is to fly into Denver International Airport. Not only is it slightly closer than other airports such as Eagle County/Vail, but flights will be cheaper and there are plenty of ground transportation options once you arrive.

Flights

DIA is a major airline hub and offers non-stop flights to and from most of the country's larger cities. We recommend traveling Southwest if available in your area as their fares tend to be as low as the others and they offer some flexibility should you change your travel plans. Be sure to check out their website when shopping around. As with any flight, you will often be better off if you can book your flight early.

Being a large airport, DIA offers plenty of options for rental cars. However, we recommend checking out the Colorado Mountain Express shuttle to get to Frisco first. They offer direct shuttles from Denver to Frisco, usually for less than the price of a rental car. Once you are in Frisco, you won't need a car. See http://www.ridecme.com/ for details.

Transportation around Frisco

Transportation around Frisco

Frisco is a 1 mile radius town that is very easy to walk around, especially if you are staying near Main Street.

Should you want to get out of town, there are various companies that will help you get where you want to be. The most cost effective and often convenient ride is the Summit Stage. Public transportation in Summit County is provided for free by the Summit Stage. Bus service is available to most ski areas, shopping centers, medical centers, and some residential areas in Summit County.
