Just as with many couples due to technology, we met online. A few pokes and emails and here we are today... nope, it wasn't that simple. There was an immediate attraction between us with just one problem. I liked guys taller than me - Anthony was a couple of inches shorter. But we all know Tony, and this did not deter him. He was captivated by my eyes (he'll tell you my butt too) and kept his eye on the "prize". Our first "date" was a night in watching a movie and drinking blackberry wine while Daisha clung to my neck like it was going to fall off. Many nights like this proceeded but I couldn't get past Tony being just slightly shorter than me.

And here we are today... Like any couple, we have had our ups and downs, our good times and rough times. But through the years, Tony and I have stood by each other and are still going strong. Daisha has changed his name from "Him" (as in "I don't want Him here, Mom" to "My Tony" to "Daddy", which is what she still calls him today.
Tony, Daisha and I moved into our first apartment on November 7, 2006, which is where we lived for two years. On May 14, 2008, after more than a year and a half together, Tony did the unexpected. While having a belated Mother's Day dinner at Romano's Macaroni Grll, Tony put a ring on my finger and asked me to marry him.
More than a year later we have endured many triumps and tribulations. Most importantly has been the birth of our son, Keiran Drago. He blessed us with his presence on September 5, 2008 and represents the best of each of us. Now, as you read this, we are in the process of planning the day that will unite us as husband and wife.
