Our Story:
The couple met through a series of chance occurences. The first being when Antoinette first moved to DC and Rufus offered to hang out with her one night, bringing Nkosi along with him. Although nothing developed from the initial encounter, they ran into each other again a few weeks later on the subway. Once again, both of them promised to get together at some point, but nothing ever developed.
A year later, Antoinette was told by her sister that there was a young man from Fresno that she thought would be a good match for her. Nkosi was told by his best friend that there was a young woman from Fresno that would be a good match for him, being as they were both originally from Fresno and currently living in DC. Even though they shared a suspicion that they knew who they were being set up with, they both agreed to take up the offers and finally met for their first real, official date. And May 15, 2010 will be their official union.
About the Bride
The lovely bride hails from Fresno, CA, but has lived every place imaginable. She attended Williams College in Massachusetts and relocated to DC after graduation. She is the proud middle sibling to an older sister and younger brother. She really misses California during the winter months, but can't wait to celebrate with everyone at home on May 15, 2010.
About the Grom
Fresno born and bred. Momma's boy, family guy, athlete and friend. Comes from a rather large family, and wouldnt have it any other way. Outgoing to the point it gets him in trouble. Competitive to the extent that he flirts with insanity. Big dreams, I would tell you about them but I have done enough talking in my life, and now its time for action. Because someone once told me I can show you better than I can tell you.
