All I can say is that this wedding, coming to you courtesy of Jennings King Photography, makes me want to track down my dancing shoes and join in the fun. In fact, if you ask me, Adam and Taylor got it one hundred percent right when they put their wedding together – an elegant, romantic wedding day and ceremony followed by a celebration so enthusiastic that everyone ends up on the dance floor. Just as a teaser, I’ll give you two guesses who finished the night on stage with mic in hand Hint: it wasn’t the officiant. Ready? Go.
From Jennings King Photography: Taylor and Adam met on a blind date: Tarheel meets Yellow Jacket. Their engagement really caught my attention, since they were engaged in the Blue Grotto in Capri. Her love of Italy was just one of the many things I loved about Taylor! During our time speaking over the phone (I didn’t meet her until the day before her wedding!) I knew we would hit it off as “bride” and “photographer!” I soon found out she had a blog, and is a fabulous writer; she loves the Bachelor and writes recaps; she is a planner, and probably my favorite thing about Taylor is that she is a huge Michael Jackson fan!
Adam and Taylor were so cute and easy going on their big wedding day. Taylor knew she didn’t want the hot weather to be an issue so everything took place indoors at the Grandover Resort. She wanted a very dimly lit, romantic ceremony and then a big PARTAY reception where no guest had a frown on their face. Their wedding was the first Jewish wedding I have shot, and I had to literally calm myself down from the excitement of all the dancing and celebrating. I wanted so badly to be a guest at this wedding and not a photographer – that is how much fun it was!
