Brian Gavin’s New Signature Cushion Cut Diamond

Every woman has her favorite diamond cut, and mine is definitely the cushion cut.  This month, Brian Gavin Jewelry is debuting their signature take on this classic cut: Cushion Cut Diamond with Hearts and Arrows.

Not all of us are diamond experts, so let’s break it down. What’s the big fuss over this particular cut?

First, this square cut with rounded corners allows for terrific brilliance and light dispersion. And that translates to even more sparkle. We all want that “wow factor” when we proudly display our left hands. This cut basically gives us more bang for our buck.

Second, this diamond cut is designed to be as durable as it is beautiful. Brian Gavin designed this diamond with a girdle edge that is similar to the girdle edge of a round brilliant cut diamond, so it is less thick than commonly found in traditional cushion cut diamonds, but not so thin that it would be prone to damage.

Third, the Brian Gavin Hearts and Arrows pattern, visible within this diamond, is completely unique. These facets are what allows the diamond to be so sparkly.

Brian Gavin has perfected this cut and the end result is a lively diamond, which has a much “whiter” appearance than a traditional cushion cut diamond exhibits.
