Check the Venue’s Fine Print!

You enter the gardens and you know it this is the place! Before you sign on the dotted line, make sure you read the fine print of any venue contract. Many venues, particularly those with catering services, will either require you to go through their kitchen or pay a fee if you choose to use another caterer. These types of fees can also apply to a variety of other vendors, such as djs and rental services. Often, the preferred rental company may not have the color of linens you want or the size of tent you require. Sometimes, there is flexibility in this and sometimes not. Make sure you hammer out all of these details to your satisfaction before you make any agreement with the venue.
