Christmas Wedding Details: Holly and Greenery

So, you want to have a Christmas wedding, but you want to avoid elves and inflatable snowmen and animatronic reindeer. Understandable. Here are some beautifully festive ideas to add to your holiday wedding decor without any Santa Clauses (we promise). Using seasonal greenery and holly can be a woodsy and rustic way to show off your Christmas spirit.

I love these chalkboard ornament tags. Write a Christmas message on one side and guests’ names on the other. Favors and place cards, all in one (and if Christmas isn’t the season for multitasking, I don’t know what is).

Keep it woodsy-chic with rustic boughs and pots of holly. I think these “planted” candles would be beautiful to give each guest on their way into the ceremony. Can you imagine all that pretty candlelight giving you that extra glow?!

Especially if you want to keep your tables clean and refined, these simple branch place cards are the way to go.

Decorate large windows and doorways with green wreaths. Plus, they will smell amazing.

A Christmas tree can be a lovely touch, and won’t overwhelm the space if you keep it off to the side. Perhaps by the guest book table?
