Destination Wedding: Turks & Caicos

If you want to get married on a remote island without feeling like you’ve been cast in a revival pilot of “Gilligan’s Island”, Turks & Caicos may be the most exclusive collection of small Caribbean islands in the world. With development on par with several other beachy wedding hotspots, Grand Turk and Providenciales have a lot to offer couples who want a complete destination wedding package.

Complete with romantic starlit nights, sparkling aquamarine waters, white sand powder beach, and lush, secluded cays, Turks and Caicos is known for its luxurious hotels, gorgeous ribbons of sand, and most of all its perfection for pulling off spectacular destination weddings.

Best Turks & Caicos Spots for a Destination Wedding

Providenciales or “Provo” is the most popular for destination weddings for two reasons. One, it is the most developed island in T&C, and second, it also has some of the best wedding package deals in the entire chain.

For instance, the urban chic design of the Grace Bay Beach Resort, Gansevoort Turks + Caicos is rising in popularity among young couples that want to wow their guests. With incredible beach access (rare in some parts of the TCI altogether due to the dunes), this modern mix of beach beauty and modern day amenities make it one of the more pricey, but impressive, destination wedding spots in Provo.

However, if you want to be even closer to the beach, consider hiring a chartered yacht. A company like Sun Charters in Providenciales offers an all-inclusive wedding package includes a 15-guest, two hour sunset cruise with champagne and cake.

Best Time to Have a Wedding in Turks & Caicos

On average, Turks and Caicos has 350 days of sunshine with average temperatures ranging between 85 and 90 degrees F. If that doesn’t crack the year wide open, we don’t know what will.
