Easy Modern Centerpiece

This is one of the most inexpensive centerpieces and the impact is great! Cost is around $15-$20.

Supplies:

small white vases or votive holders (We used these with a glass votive holder to make them water tight.)

5-15 books (all around the same size for each stack)

brightly colored paper- large enough to make book covers

a few stems of flowers per table (we used hyacinth and anemone. ranunculus would work well too)

white ceramic numbers (or buy paper ones and paint them white)

Steps:

1. Cover books with paper in similar hues or just two colors- for best impact. Directions here.

2. Stack on tables.

3. Add numbers and vases.

Tips/Mistakes:

Secure numbers with a bit of clay. The larger the table, the more stacks of books, and larger books and vases you should have. Try to stick with around two or three colors for the best impact.
