Want to sparkle on your wedding day? Consider a golden gown—sparked by one of this year’s Golden Globe red carpet trends.

While most everyone’s been talking about the red gowns worn at the ceremony on Sunday, we couldn’t take our eyes off all the shimmering golden gowns and accents on the red carpet.

Isla Fisher and Nashville’s Connie Britton wowed in shimmery Reem Acra and Kaufman Franco gowns, respectively, and Downton Abbey’s Michelle Dockery looked stunning in a white and gold Alexander Vauthier. While many panned Julianne Hough’s hair and jewelry choices, we thought the gold and tulle Monique Lhuillier was a great choice for the actress/singer/dancer.
