Honeymoon Destination: Las Vegas

Gamble away at one of the many casinos, tour The Las Vegas Art Museum, be mesmerized by the Bellagio fountains, and attend the best selling show “Mamma Mia”. Or if you would like to see Las Vegas from a different perspective book a Las Vegas tour package, which may include excursions to the Grand Canyon, a Lake Mead cruise, and a drive to Hoover Dam. See the desert on an ATV, the Colorado River by raft or check out the Las Vegas Strip on a helicopter tour. If you wish to relax, schedule a rejuvenating spa treatment, watch the sunset from atop the mini Eiffel Tower at the Paris Hotel or golf on one of twenty world class golf courses Las Vegas has to offer. As a newlywed, Las Vegas will make you feel like the luckiest couple alive.

There’s no shortage of romance in Las Vegas. What could be better than being serenaded as you cruise the canals of Venice on the gondola rides at the Venetian, or watching a stunning sunrise while dining on a scrumptious breakfast at the Grand Canyon. If you visit in the colder months, nothing says “romance” like a horse-drawn carriage ride through the snow at the Mount Charleston Lodge, or get rid of all the stress from wedding plans and have a relaxing couples massage. Choose one of the many honeymoon packages and stay in an all-inclusive resort which may include a luxurious honeymoon suite with Jacuzzi bathtubs, mouthwatering international cuisine, show tickets, use of a limousine, and even champagne and strawberries on arrival. Whatever you’re looking for, Las Vegas will give you a honeymoon beyond what you’ve ever envisioned.

Known as the wedding capital of the world, Las Vegas offers more choices than anywhere else for any type of destination wedding you desire. For an elegant and traditional wedding say “I Do” at the Wynn Las Vegas, Bellagio or one of the Paris wedding chapels. Exchange vows at the Tropicana for a tropical-feeling wedding, or be outrageous and have Elvis marry you in the Viva Las Vegas Wedding chapel. Choose an all-inclusive wedding package and enjoy the benefits of a wedding coordinator, fragrant floral arrangements, wedding photography with a photo album, unity candle service, and even a hotel honeymoon package. A destination wedding in Las Vegas is a one-of-a-kind experience, with all the romance, beauty and elegance you’ve ever imagined for your special day.

With over 300 sunny days in the year Las Vegas is a perfect place for your destination wedding or honeymoon. Summers have classic desert weather with high temperatures over 100 and lows in the 70′s or 80′s. Humidity is usually low. Winters, for the most part, are mild. Afternoon temperatures average near 60 degrees and skies are mostly clear. Snow is rare in Las Vegas, although flurries are observed once or twice during most winters. Spring and fall are great, but watch for rather sharp temperature changes during these months. Spring is the windiest period in Las Vegas, but it can get fairly windy during winter months too.
