Margo and Aaron’s Elegant Galveston, TX Wedding by Ryan Price Photo

There is a lot to love about Margo and Aaron’s gorgeous Galveston wedding! The color palette is beautiful, muted, and timeless. The flowers are nothing short of amazing (we love succulents!). And the groom’s cake would be the envy of any self-respecting Aggie! Thank you so much to Ryan Price Photo for sharing this stunning event.

What was your vision for your day? Any DIY projects?

I had so many ideas on flower colors and table decor that I had to narrow it down to our personalities, and that was very tough! We were able to go with the florist to pick out our flowers and that was one of my favorite things to do. For DIY – my mom and I made the signs that were used at our reception tables.
Did your wedding location hold a specific significance to you?

We grew up in different cities and always enjoyed vacationing in Galveston together since it was only an hour away from each home town. We always knew it was the city we wanted to get married in!
Did anything funny or out of the ordinary happen?

The dance floor – we had a GREAT band that had our guests on their feet the entire time. There were some pretty funny dance moves from people I did not expect to see them from!
How did you know your partner was “the one”?

We complement each other and both just knew.
Any advice you’d give new brides who are just getting started?

Pick out the things that are most important to you and then let the rest fall into place! Enjoy every minute of planning and the wedding itself – it goes by way too fast!!
