Spring is in the air. I can feel it in the steadily lengthening days, in the warmth of the sun…in the havoc the pollen count is wreaking on my allergies. Fortunately, there’s something out there that makes all of this sneezing very much worth it: spring weddings. I could go on and on about how much I love a good spring wedding – the fresh feeling of the season, the metaphor connecting new life and newlyweds embarking on their next adventure – but this year, I’m going to narrow my focus and stick to spring wedding décor.
This inspiration board, which passes up on the typical pastels in favor of a bolder, brighter spring wedding color palette, features some of the loveliest bits of seasonal inspiration around. Vibrant hues (thanks for that, Pantone), splashes of watercolor, fresh flowers galore and some new ideas for spring wedding centerpieces because, while we’ll always love a good mason jar, there are some pretty wonderful alternatives out there. Also: giant. Paper. Flowers. Because if there’s a season that’s meant for giant paper flowers, it’s spring.
So what’s the verdict? Radiant orchid invites and milk glass vases for all? While we’re on the subject, I love the favors and spring-y invitations here. Don’t forget that you can always find more spring wedding ideas in ideas.
