Vibrant Californian Backyard Wedding from Offbeat Bride

Megan and Matt wanted their wedding to be as crafty and eco-friendly as possible. All dinnerware was rented, but the flatware was eco-friendly and there were recycle bins placed strategically around the venue. Many of the DIY projects used paper shopping bags and newspapers, like the awesome paper flowers. Megan hung papel picado banners, used a Dia de los Muertos cake topper on their wedding pie, rented Margarita Machines, had a taco cart and — my favorite part — utilized mason jars as favors with handmade paper tags, so each guest got their very own personalized jar. Megan made signs and utilized old chalkboards and windows for the seating charts and programs. Check out these photos from Jen Stewart Photography to see some vibrant, California, outdoor wedding action!
