A day after brunch is usually held by the bride’s family (only because, more often than not, the wedding is in the bride’s hometown), but anyone can host one. Particularly if it is a destination wedding or one with many out-of-town guests, it is the perfect opportunity for everyone to catch up. Weddings, while joyous and exciting, are often stressful and overwhelming for those involved. Day after brunches are a great way for family and friends to enjoy each other’s company with a little quality time. You can invite anyone, or as few as you’d like. It is always a really nice gesture to invite the new in-laws. For the most part, these brunches are much smaller affairs, limited to family and the closest of your friends.
