Wedding Accommodations
Suggestions of places to stay while you're here. These include hotels, hostels, B&Bs, the College Club itself, camping and crashing on our couch or someone else's. When using our wedding blocks, all rates are guaranteed Oct 12-18.
PLEASE book early-- Oct 17-18 is Head of the Charles weekend, and hotels will be full up for it.
The College Club of Boston
The beautiful venue for our ceremony and reception, the College Club is also a lovely bed and breakfast. It is centrally located on the edge of the Gardens, just a few minutes' walk from the Theater and Financial Districts and downtown. Their twelve guestrooms (singles and doubles) are beautiful and affordable (rates vary from $120-$250), but make sure to book early.
Irving House
A beautiful (and totally green!) guest house just outside Harvard Square, with very affordable rates ($100-$400, depending on size of room, type of bath and season), especially if you're sharing. Just a few minutes' walk from Harvard and the T.
Casa do Zequita
A very intimate B&B with only three bedrooms, a great breakfast, right on the T-- and the prices cannot be beat!
Embassy Suites Boston
The hotel with the biggest block for its price ($209) and its location (close to the airport and downtown), it offers a complimentary shuttle to the airport and to the Blue Line station. When booking, ask for the Oliveira/Schmidheiny wedding block.
Intercontinental Hotel
We have blocked off rooms in this amazing waterfront hotel: ask for the Oliveira wedding block. We scored a rate almost half their regular rates for that weekend: $315. We know it's still a bit rich, but we figured someone would want to splurge-- and for what you'd be paying, you're getting treated like royalty.
