That's right, I took initiative in showing him I was serious about staying here with him in Costa Rica and making a life together!

When i was in Oregon last year with my family I decided I was going to go for it.
With the support of my mum and little sister Miriam, we went down town Portland to look for rings.

I found some amazing designer rings; yellow gold with niobium for Brendan and rose gold with niobium for me.

A couple of days after I returned home I prepared our studio upstairs with a pathway of tea lights, music and a little thrown for Brendan to sit on at the end of the pathway. I then came down and blindfolded him to take him upstairs. After sitting him down... I told him to uncover his eyes as I began to dance towards him from the other end of the lit up pathway...offering him my dance of devotion all the way across the studio.
When I reached him I pulled out the rings from the altar and placed it on his finger...and then gave him mine to put on my ring.

Brendan was very moved to say the least!
