Everything is almost done!
I can't believe almost all of the vendors are booked! I am actually a little sad about it, wedding planning has been so fun! Ben picked out the tuxes tonight and I found the bridesmaid dress of my dreams!
If only everything could be so easy!
We just got done picking out our wedding bands. We were in and out of the jewelry store in less than 20 minutes! It was hard to believe that we could cross something off of the to do list so quickly. We also chose a honeymoon location and that was nearly painless as well. We decided upon Riviera Maya, Mexico. We'll be staying in a hotel that has been ranked in the top 100 in the world! We have lots of adventures planned already we can't wait to go. Woo hoo!
We've passed the 6 month countdown!
It's only 6 more months until the big day and it couldn't get here soon enough for the both of us; we are tired of waiting! I finally get to send out save the dates and start hammering out the smaller details. I love wedding planning, I wish I could do it for a living but I don't think I could deal with the occasional bridezilla. Haha! I can't wait to see everyone over the holidays and have a much needed break from work. Make sure you keep checking back for additional wedding info!
Weight off our shoulders
We officially booked our reception site and it will be held at the Duncan Center in downtown Dover. We thought that it was a great space with awesome balconies and good food! We were so lucky to find a place that fits almost all of our criteria! Booking the Duncan Center is such a relief for us because we were running out of options and we (actually I, meaning Becca) were on the verge of panic. The same day we booked our reception site we also went and picked up our new baby, Gibson...
And so it begins!
We have officially stated the wedding planning process! So far we have been focusing on finding a reception site that isn't booked and that can hold our huge families! We got our engagement photos taken a few weeks ago, and we had a perfect day and an excellent natural backdrop. Tomorrow is Ben's 23rd birthday, so we will be celebrating by going out for sushi!
