Sundance Square

One of the most exciting and pedestrian-friendly downtown areas in America, Sundance Square is 20 historic blocks where people play, work, and live. You can browse specialty boutiques, dine in restaurants from casual to elegant, wander through an art gallery, see a movie or live theatre performance, or take in a show at Bass Performance Hall. An award-winning model of urban redevelopment, Sundance Square is popular with both locals and visitors. Parking is free all day on weekends and on weekdays if you arrive after 5 p.m.

Parker County Peach Festival

Important!!! The Peach Festival will block off the downtown square of Weatherford so DO NOT come that way to get to the ceremony site, Chandor Gardens. Take Interstate 20.

Come Rain or shine Weatherford will host the 2007 Annual Peach Festival on Saturday, July 14th. This year's festival features more than 200 arts and crafts vendors. Join us in Weatherford’s historic downtown, from 8:00AM to 5:00 PM. There will be a children’s area, a food court, non-stop entertainment, and of course our sweet, juicy Parker County Peaches. Beat the heat with Peachy treats of all kinds - peach ice cream, peach juleps, peach smoothies, peach cobbler, and just plain ol' peaches to bite and let the juice run down your chin. Admission is $5 for adults and FREE for children 12 and under. There will be free parking from the new 9th Grade Center, 1007 S. Main St. (the "old" Weatherford High School), Weatherford College & the First Monday Grounds. Free handicap parking and handicap shuttle from Weatherford Ninth Grade Center.
