Definite wedding date!/Endgültiger Hochzeitstermin!
Together with my pastor Matthias, we decided to go for Oct 3rd 2:00 pm for our church wedding! As you might now, Oct 3rd is the German national holiday, committed in remembrance of the German reunification in 1989/90. This means everybody gets the day off, and Whit and I will have a longer weekend to recover from the celebration. Wedding process update/Neues vom Standesamt
Hello everybody, Just a little update about our crazy legal wedding process! Some 2 weeks ago we went to officially register for marriage at the town hall and handed in all the needed documents. Whitney had to make an official declaration that she was in no situation (e.g. already married) that would keep her from marriage, and of course we needed an officially accredited translator for everything. Pray for my mom's surgery/Betet für die OP meiner Mutter
People, we need some prayers. My mom has a fist-sized tumor on her left ovary that needs to be removed. Thursday morning she will be admitted to the hospital and have the surgery on Friday. Although it is so big, it does not seem to be aggressive or life-threatening, but has put pressure on her kidney so that it started aching.
