Wedding invitation online!/Hochzeitseinladung online!
For all of you out there that for certain expect to be invited to our wedding, the invitation can be previewed and downloaded here. The printed versions have been on the way to be delivered since early noon on Monday, German time. Depending on the speed of the postal service as well as our helpers in the States, they will hopefully arrive soon!
In addition, if you feel like you should have received one, but haven't for some reason, we most certainly simply forgot to put you on the list. We didn't have any pre-set address registers, and it is very possible that we did not cover all the relatives and friends out there deserving of an invitation. We apologize for this in advance and hope you will contact us for clarification!
We are REALLY excited about the wedding and hoping and praying that maybe even some American relatives or friends might make it over!
Expect some extensions of this little site soon! We'd like to give you all, especially our American friends who won't be able to come, a better idea of what's going on and what will happen. That will also include a more detailed description of our plans for the future and maybe some prayer requests.

Für alle, die es gar nicht mehr abwarten können, bis ihre Einladungen eintreffen, habe ich unsere Einladung jetzt zum Ansehen/Herunterladen online gestellt. Die gedruckten Ausgaben sind seit Montag in der Post (soweit ich die Adressen hatte; alle anderen werden dann wohl nur nochmal einen Link per eMail erhalten) und sollten bald eintreffen.
Die online gestellte Version ist natürlich keineswegs ein Freibrief - wir müssen uns leider auf zu bewältigende Besuchermengen beschränken. Wenn ihr trotzdem das Gefühl habt, dass ihr eigentlich eine Einladung bekommen haben solltet, könnt ihr euch gerne an uns wenden. Es kann leider sehr gut passieren, dass wir beim Erstellen der Liste jemanden vergessen haben.
Wir freuen uns echt schon total auf die Hochzeit und hoffen und beten, dass vielleicht sogar Verwandte oder Freunde aus Amerika werden kommen können!
In Bälde möchten wir diese Seite noch ein bisschen ausbauen und erweitern. Wir möchten euch allen, aber natürlich besonders den amerikanischen Verwandten und Freunden, die nicht kommen werden können, einen tieferen Einblick in unsere Vorbereitungen und den Hochzeitsablauf geben. Dazu gibt's dann hoffentlich detailliertere Schilderungen unserer Zukunftspläne und vielleicht ein paar Gebetsanliegen.

Think by now, you're getting close to making your commitment to each other. Sure would love to be in Germany to witness your vows, but I know God is holding both of you in His loving hands. Hi you two!
This time then in English, as promised - whether I am tired or not or even more tired (So, all you English readers, don't blame me because of my English! You are luckily not hearing my pronunciation...). And now for everybody black on white in written words: At last I have got a daughter -my absolute favourite daughter-in-law, and I am proud of being her mother-in-law. It's great to have you here, Whitney, and I thank God for you and Ben.
