Choosing Our Vendors...
Choosing the right vendor is so important. We checked out references and called other brides on all of our vendors to make sure that they were the right fit for us. We met with quite a few florists, photographers, cake decorators, etc. to ensure that the match-up was going to work for all of us. Justin and I are very detail oriented, and we wanted to make a lot of the wedding decisions ourselves -- so it was in our best interest to find the perfect vendors that blended well with our style of getting things done. We used Ravenna Bloom for my mother's birthday one year and we loved Wendy and her attention to detail. She is a wonderful florist to work with and she has such a great vision. We'd recommend her to anyone planning any event as well!
(I checked out your vendors page -- what a great idea to let others know what vendors you used so we don't have to do all of the leg work next time we throw a party) . . . how is it going with your caterer?

Lisa Dupar Catering is doing a wonderful job. They've been in contact with us every step of the way (which is sometimes not the case with people that you hire) -- we're really pleased with the menu that they've helped us create and we're anticipating a wonderful dinner and night with their wealth of experience. They've also catered at the Smith Tower before, so that really helps with the planning. It made it so much easier for us and we can't wait for you all to see what we've planned for the evening.
