I met my partner through Facebook 3 years ago, aiming to get some local advice on my intention of coming to Australia to take a postgraduate program -I'm chilean. And I found a soulmate! And it's true, Jim, when you know, YOU KNOW. =)

You two are the cutest couple I've ever seen! Jim, I loved your singing on American Idol. I just saw you in Eating Out and it renewed my interest in you, so I was about to do a Google search for you when I saw that one of the suggestions was "Jim Verraros wedding"... which eventually led me here! Your wedding video & photos touched me deeply. My husband - also "Bill" - & I feel very fortunate to live in a progressive & diverse neighborhood in Greenfield, MA. My 91 year old mother once said to me that no one should be denied the right to love & marry - no matter who they are. Take care of each other.

I am so happy for you two. I saw Jim in Eating Out and was an instant fan. I had just came out and it gave me comfort knowing there are other "different" people out there. It was so great to read your story. Unexpected love is the best thing to find!
My partner and I (we also met because of the unexpected connection between the internet, email and my sarcastic sense of humor) got married in Southern California in 2003 after being together for 5 years and will celebrate 11 together in November. Gay marriage is not legal in California either but we, like you, don't care what anyone else says, we are married.
We now happily reside together in Northern Illinois and really cherish every memory of our wedding day, including the video montage that was made.
