Happy Memorial Day! I hope you have used this 3 day weekend to relax and have fun and maybe even travel with your honey. Hopefully, you didn’t have to be in planning mode and you could fully enjoy this dawn of summer.

And if you are traveling, please drive safe. I know, I know. You’ve got places to go and people to see (and that car going 35 in a 50 is making you cuckoo crazy). But you’re not Ricky Bobby, so let’s lower the speed and check your blind spots, okay?

“The Moment” Contest Winner!

Recently, mywedding ran a contest on Facebook, having fans vote on their favorite picture of that perfect defining moment of a wedding. For some, those photos were playful, others deeply romantic. The winning photo was a blend of both! Taken by the bride’s sister, this photo of the couple’s exit is sweet and traditional, but the red umbrella adds that little bit of whimsy.

Every couple has that one photo that completely sums up their wedding. And the beauty is, it looks different for each wedding. We received so many unique stories via these photos! Once your wedding photography is completed, find that photo and emphasize it (whether that means making a gigantic canvas print or just changing your profile picture is up to you)!
