Day After Sessions

Ashley and Jon’s Beautiful Northwest Wedding Day Photo Session by Meghann Prouse

This session is extra special because I know the gorgeous bride, Ashley. She works at mywedding.com and is always the girl that looks so effortlessly stylish (you know, the girl you not-so-secretly envy for being able to accessorize so well). So, when she decided to renew her vows she called up another fellow co-worker, Meg. Meghann is a freakishly talented photographer. See for yourself!

Celebrating St. Patrick’s Day: Elisa and Ben’s Irish Honeymoon Session by Lisa O’Dwyer Photography

After being married in their hometown in Germany, Elisa and Ben wanted to do a session with Lisa O’Dwyer while honeymooning near Dublin. They went to Howth Harbour and Howth Castle and even brought along their wedding attire. As Lisa puts it, “They didn’t want to trash the dress, they wanted to celebrate the dress!” Check out not only the sweet dress, but also all the stunning scenery below.

A Perfectly Lovely Afternoon by Anna Hardy

We are so thrilled to have this shoot from the amazing and fantastic Anna Hardy! From the gorgeous photography to the perfect afternoon tea, get ready for some serious eye candy!

A couple of weeks ago I spent a brilliant afternoon down in St. Albans with Alex and Rory, a really lovely couple who have been married for a few years. Like many people, they felt that as much as they truly loved their wedding day, they would perhaps make a few different choices for the day if they were to do it all over again now, and wanted some up-to-date, romantic pictures of them together as a couple that reflect their current tastes and style.

So, Alex decided…

Bride’s Perspective: Anne and Deciding Who To Invite

How is it that the most important decisions in planning a wedding are the ones that confront you head-on before you even have the slightest idea of what you really want? I’m mostly talking about two things, although one of them was fairly easily resolved when we took our first tour of Spruce Mountain Ranch in Larkspur, CO, leaving behind only the lingering question of who do we invite to our wedding and how on earth do we only have 125 people there and not step on anybody’s toes?

By the way, nearly two months into the process, that question is still lingering.

It is entirely possible that determining our guest list is the single longest ongoing conflict in my relationship…

Heidi and Brent’s Day After Surfing Session

I wasn’t kidding earlier when I said that Heidi and Brent looked like the kind of laidback couple who’d be up for a surf anytime, even if they were still wearing their wedding clothes. Literally.

The couple took to the ocean the day after their wedding to ride the waves together and the results are absolutely stunning. Kudos to Marina at Red Heart Photo who did such a fantastic job (can you believe there’s a rainbow in the back of one of the shots? I mean, c’mon!).

Check out Heidi and Brent’s wedding too!
