Tiffany and Tyler’s Stunning Florida Beach Wedding by Paul Johnson Photography

Since that little meanie, Punxsutawney Phil, declared six more weeks of winter today, I felt it was the perfect time to look at a beach wedding. Check out all of this gorgeousness and sunshine in this wedding by Paul Johnson Photography.  Tiffany and Tyler has a great weekend filled with fun times with their closest friends and family on Florida’s Gulf Coast. And they also had the cutest ring bearer ever.  Just six more weeks, right?

I’d love to hear about any specific details, and your vision for the day!

After being together for nearly 7 years we had a solid idea of what we wanted the entire weekend to be like for everyone: a vacation. We cherished the Wed.-Fri. that we got to spend with our immediate families, with beach activities, trying new area restaurants, and girl’s night karaoke, and then our friends and extended families…

Andrea and Jack’s Sweet Autumn Wedding by Gina and Tony Photographers

You are going to find this hard to believe, but Andrea and Jack’s wedding came together in just over four months. Thanks to very helpful and talented friends, this event turned out beautifully! From the DIY cake topper (note the height difference, which mimics the 13″ difference between Andrea and Jack) to the autumnal wreaths decorating the pews and chairs, no one would ever guess that this wedding didn’t take a year to plan! We are so thankful to Gina and Tony Photographers for sharing this very special day with us!

Andrea’s list of wedding planning advice:

  • Be flexible!  Everything is going to be beautiful and amazing and so fun the day of so don’t sweat the small stuff nobody will notice and you won’t want to, or get the chance to, pay attention to the day of.  Figure out the few things that are

Chris and Molly’s Modern Stormy Night Wedding by Ashley O’Dell Photography

Chris and Molly’s Cambridge wedding this last October is amazing inspiration for couples planning an autumn wedding. Check out their super chic details and theme! Ashley O’ Dell captures all of the fun of this ever-so-slightly modern gothic reception filled with ravens, giant chandeliers, completely unique wall murals, and bare white branches. Both Molly and Chris had been hoping for a stormy night to lend extra atmosphere to their event, but instead of just rain, they also received some unexpected snow. I love how they took the whole thing in stride–the umbrella pics are gorgeous!

Mike and Nicole’s Southern Inspired New York Real Wedding by Brookelyn Photography

You know how everywhere you turn right now, there is some type of top 5 or top 10 list? I’m obsessed with them. I can’t stop (is there a 12 step program for this?). And so, please pardon me if I tell you the top 5 things I love about Mike and Nicole’s wedding by the super awesome Brookelyn Photography:

1. The flowers. I mean, they are ah-mazing. From the bouquets to the centerpieces, I am just in awe.

2. The mason jar goblets. They are my new favorite thing. And I want them. Badly.

3. The bridesmaid dresses. I love gray. And the style was universally flattering. Way to go, Nicole!

4. The wreaths adorning the end of each pew. Love, love, love, love this. A lot.

5. The signage. Everything was super cute, witty, and stylish.

I encourage everyone to make their own top 5…

Khanitha & Francis’s Fabulous Floridian Fall Wedding by Vitalic Photo

For those of us in cooler climates, this is the time of year when we start to yearn for sunnier locales. Like Florida! And, looking out my window at the moment, let me tell you, I’m no exception. Fortunately, today’s gorgeous real wedding from Vitalic Photo of Khanitha and Francis’s big day hails from the sunshine state.

So many stunning details abound in these beautiful images: the dress, the bridesmaids, the church, the venue, the adorable glasses (you’ll see what I mean), the sunset. Ah! Just what anyone would want when starting a wintry weekend.

Florida + Fall + Sunsets + Weddings = a fabulous way to start a Friday!

Khanitha’s thoughts on planning her wedding:

As an interior decorator, I didn’t realize how hard it was to plan my own wedding. I love all things pretty. Deciding on one particular style was probably the most difficult part of planning a wedding. I was fortunate…

My Top 5 Favorite Real Weddings of 2011

So, every year there are weddings that just stick with me. Memorable photos, cool locations, great details–some weddings just end up being my favorites. And this year, I thought I would share my favorites with you, so that you can revisit them with me. They are all so different, each one having their own personality.  And so, in no particular order…

How cool are Rachel and Dylan? I love this wedding by Sergio Photography because this couple is staying true to exactly who they are, and they are looking great doing it.

Deborah and Jeff’s wedding by Embrace Life Photography perfectly represents understated elegance. Between her awesome dress and his uniform they both looked amazing.

I love a wedding with lots of vintage details and Katie and Matt’s wedding didn’t disappoint. One Love Photo did a fantastic job of capturing this very romantically…

Real Wedding Re-Run: Xian and Sam’s Classic Wedding with Vintage Details by The Collection

I saw this wedding this morning, and knew I had to rerun it. A year later, it is still just as gorgeous..

The first thing that stands out about Xian and Sam’s wedding is their smiles; this is a couple who looks like they are having a good time (I mean, they give each other high-fives after exchanging rings – how can you not love that?).

And then you notice the colors (captured beautifully by The Collection), which give the day a fresh modern feel – the bright red of the bouquets against the bridesmaids’ teal dresses and the browns paired with the teal again of the table settings. And then there are the little details – the fact the wedding was held at an observatory, the ring bearers’ suitcases, the individually crafted terrariums on each table, the groomsmen’s large, gold belt buckles…Oh, and their cake table where…
