Inspiration Board: Tangerine and Fuchsia

One of my favorite color combination’s is tangerine and fuchsia. It’s a fun, vibrant color pairing that can still feel very sophisticated when matched with cream, ivory or even black. Perfect for summer-y weddings, you can also give guests a cool surprise (that perfectly matches your color palette, of course!) by serving Creamsicle pops in orange/vanilla and raspberry/vanilla flavors!

Florrie Mitton Couture Garters

Admittedly, when it comes to bridal accessories the garter is an afterthought at best for me. It’s tradition, it’s a garter, moving on. That, however, ceased to be the case when I came upon the glamorous couture offerings by U.K. designer label Florrie Mitton. The handmade line consists of beautiful laces, silk satins, chiffon & tulle all trimmed with silk ribbons, vintage sparkles, charms and jewels. They are ultra feminine and fashion-forward and proof that it is all about the details.

Princess Lasertron Felt Bridal Accessories

I have seen a lot of bouquets in a lot of different styles, but never have I stumbled upon the likes of Princess Lasertron‘s fun and festive offerings! Megan Hunt, the creative mastermind behind Princess Lasertron, has been busting out her bouquets and bridal accessories since 2005 using felt, vintage buttons, and other ephemera. From bouquets to hairpieces and brooches to gowns, even DIY craft kits, Megan and her team will see to it that you have a customized heirloom piece to enjoy on your special day and for years to come. And, like the name of her business, these cute beauties are anything but ordinary!

A bunch of bridesmaid bouquets.

These pins could make for fun bridesmaid accessories or even cute boutonnieres for some “good sports” groomsmen.

How sweet would this style of bouquet be for a junior bridesmaid? Okay, really ‘junior’ but still!

Even boutonnieres…

Angee W. Bridal Clutches

There are lots of accessories that a bride considers as part of her overall wedding day look. While the obvious choices are shoes, veil, jewelry, and bouquet, a bride is also going to need a purse for a few essentials and a clutch is a classic and stylish choice. And, stylish is precisely what you’ll find with the multitude of offerings at Angee W.

Founded in 2009 by mother-daughter team, Angee & Vincci, this talented duo uses jewelry, feathers, lace, floral adornments and more, to bring together their exquisite creations. You can even customize the lining of each clutch with your engagement photo or another special image as well as having an embroidered message placed inside (which would make for a memorable bridesmaid gift). Each clutch would make for a fashionable finishing touch to the entire bridal party look so be sure to check out their entire collection!

Twigs & Honey Bridal Hair Adornments

So, are you a veil or a non-veil bride-to-be? Not to worry! These days the options are endless regardless of what type of accessory you choose to crown yourself with the day you walk down that aisle. And, none are quite so lovely as the handmade pieces from Twigs & Honey.

Founded by Myra Callan in 2008 (after being inspired by her own wedding to husband, Matt), Twigs & Honey hair adornments are created with great attention to detail and beautiful craftsmanship. Since the first styles were released, the designs have included handmade and hand-dyed or painted silk flowers, hand-sewn embellishments and other intricate detailing. Myra’s line features hair adornments, headbands, birdcage veils, traditional veils, hats, and so much more! Anything from Twigs & Honey would make for a stunning crowning touch!
