Eco-friendly Heart Plugs from Omerica

Omerica is one of those companies where the more you look into it, the cooler it is. Not only are they super eco-friendly (on average, they plant 700 trees for every one they use) but their products are all-organic, completely handmade in Denver and, oh yeah, their stuff totally rocks.

Meeko and Emily’s Hilltop Wedding in Tiburon, CA

How did the two of you meet? Tell us your story:
Meeko and I met working together at a restaurant in college. He was the older, hunky bartender, and I was the 18 year-old hostess. We worked together for almost 8 months, shamelessly flirting all along, before I successfully FORCED him to ask me out (yes, that’s right, I threatened him). After a couple of dates – and we’re talking classy dates like dinner at In ‘N Out – Meeko asked me to be “his lady.” The rest is history.

What was the theme or design inspiration for your wedding?
I am a graphic designer and wanted everything to be simple, chic, vintage inspired, and welcoming. I wanted people to feel like they were on vacation…a mini-destination wedding only 20 minutes from where we live (San Francisco). We had to stick to a budget, and do a lot of DIY…

Ryan and Liz Marry in Malibu, CA

How did the two of you meet? Tell us your story:
We both attended the Portfolio Center in Atlanta, and spent several months passing each other in the halls until Ryan ended up working on projects with my roommate. Our friendship blossomed over the next year or so, and after a few long walks, a Braves game, and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, we realized something more was afoot. We conveniently fell for each other three months before we both departed Atlanta for different cities.

What was the theme | design inspiration for your wedding?
We knew we wanted a wedding that was laid back and fun, but still memorable. Once we found the perfect location, Rancho Del Cielo in Malibu, we set out to create a day that would truly reflect our personalities and everything else fell into place.

James and Sabiha’s Romantic Nuptials in New Hope, PA

How did the two of you meet?
Jim and I met while working together at an advertising agency. He was working as a graphic designer and I was working in the marketing department. I remember being new to the company and really shy. We met in the elevator during my first week. I remember immediately having a crush on him. He had the most amazing smile and was so sincere.

What was the theme or design inspiration for your wedding?
When we got engaged, the only request Jim made was that our wedding happen in autumn because that’s his favorite time of year. We got engaged in August 2007 and married in October 2008. We decided that the color scheme would include navy, purples, yellow and gold. I didn’t necessarily have a theme planned but I wanted our wedding to represent fall and I wanted to embrace our…
