You said yes to the dress and you’re knee-deep in planning, but there’s one element that you’ve probably missed—and it’s the (ahem) foundation for looking great on your wedding day.
Underwear, y’all. We’re not talking wedding night prettiness…we mean the real stuff that keeps you looking great underneath a well-fitting formal dress. If you’ve been to the lingerie department of a major department store, you know there are a million shapewear and undergarment options. You also know that there’s no way in h-e-double hockey sticks that you’re going to drag your perfect dress around town to find the right underpinnings to go with it.

Anne Kristine already has a successful line of super sweet lingerie. Now, she is adding to her collection with veils and boudoir masks. These veils are fun and retro, featuring dots, metallic shades or floral barrettes. You could not only wear these veils on your wedding day, but also to a boudoir shoot (an extremely popular wedding gift for the groom).
And speaking of boudoir shoots, check out these sexy lace masks available in black or white! Definitely “Fifty Shades”-lite, these masks make for a seductive accessory at a photo session. And what happens after said sexy photo session, is totally your little secret.

Buying lingerie can be hard. You want to find something you feel sexy in, but you also wants something that feels nice to wear (and it is shocking how difficult it is to find both). Well, the heavens parted and the angels sang when I saw Anne Kristine’s collection. Annie Archambault has taken her years of experience in the wedding and fashion industries and designed pieces that are romantic, sensual, and light.
And listen up, because her entire collection is on sale through July 4. That’s right. The perfect lingerie. And it is on sale. This is one of those shopping-doesn’t-get-any-better-than-this moments.

Admittedly, when it comes to bridal accessories the garter is an afterthought at best for me. It’s tradition, it’s a garter, moving on. That, however, ceased to be the case when I came upon the glamorous couture offerings by U.K. designer label Florrie Mitton. The handmade line consists of beautiful laces, silk satins, chiffon & tulle all trimmed with silk ribbons, vintage sparkles, charms and jewels. They are ultra feminine and fashion-forward and proof that it is all about the details.
There’s a pretty good chance that if you’re involved with a wedding you’re going to be heading to either a shower or bachelorette party where you’ll need to bring a lingerie gift. And while we’re all for a cute negligee, these undies from Mahoohoo have the advantage of being very wearable and totally different. They’re a little bit rock-n-roll tempered with a touch of sweetness (check out the ruffles on her punk pair below!).
