As you have probably already found out, there are a lot of wedding photographers out there. How to pick? Here is our best advice to help you find the best photographer for your event:

Who’s in your local area? Before you fly someone out from London, make sure there isn’t an awesome photographer right in your own backyard.

What is your style? Do you know what type of photography you are looking for? Pinterest is actually pretty handy for this. Go through wedding pictures to get an idea of what you want your photos to feel like.

Chances are, your wedding reception you will feature a photo booth to entertain your guests. You already know all the reasons why a photo booth is a great choice, but often overlooked are the props that will appear in those photo booth pictures.

Why props are important
The purpose of the photo booth is to entertain, but also so that you can get more images of your guests while your photographer focuses their professional lens on the dance floor, the cake cutting, and other important shots. One person standing alone in a photo booth can be just plain awkward. You need to have another element in the picture to act as a seed of creativity.

The Textographer Creates Pictures Out of Words, Literally

At first glance, this photo looks like any other poster-sized print of a very cute couple on their wedding day. But upon closer inspection…

Holy cow! Are those words that make up her face? Why, yes they are. Very clever, that Textographer, wouldn’t you agree? He and his group of classically-trained artists break down your photo and replace it with text of your choosing so it mimics the original.

And, what a great way to remember a special part of your day – your vows, all of the guests that attended your wedding, song lyrics from your first dance – in a completely unique way.

I guess in this case, a picture really would be worth a thousand words (sorry, just had to do it!).
