parents of the bride are giving the wedding. should the wedding invitations say the grooms name and under son of , then his parents name. or should that be left out.
Hello, I hope some one can help. I am from PA and my fiance is from MI. We desided to have the wedding ceremony and a reception in MI. Then we would have a reception in Pa. My question is when should we have the second reception? Before the honeymoon? After the Honeymoon? A month later? Before the Weddding? The same week as the ceremony?
Is it appropriate to register but also state”cash would greatly be appreciated to jump start our life together”My daughter and son in law included this comment on their website. They have been living together for 4 years and would rather have cash. They have the basics already but put a few things on their registry in case guests would rather give presents.. I would appreciate any comments on this topic. Than you.

In general, it is just not polite for anyone to ask for cash. Those people that don’t want to buy a gift will often give a check or gift certificate anyway. The best way to handle these types of situations is to tell the wedding party and families how helpful a monetary gift would be, and those people can tell that to guests if they inquire.
How do you tell someone you don’t want them to be a bridesmaid anymore. At first I though it was a good idea but its beginning to seem like its her wedding not mine.
