Nothing is more perfect for a summer homespun wedding than gingham. I love the trend of linen suits with pastel gingham bowties and bridesmaids wearing just a touch of gingham as a part of their fabric bouquets or shoes in a gingham pattern. A little bit does go a long way, too much can leave your wedding looking like a cheesy local carnival. But few things are more charming in small doses than gingham.

Well, I like gingham, in its place, but I think it would be easy to overdo this look for a wedding. The gingham shirt and bow tie is a bit much for my taste. To each their own!
