Michael and Adrian wanted an out-of-the-ordinary engagement shoot and boy, did they get it! Along with Perpixel Photography they staged a treasure hunt that starts in the Los Angeles Central Library, takes them to a retro 50s diner and ends up under an old oak tree, digging away with shovels.

How did you two meet?
A mutual friend. she actually dated one of my college buddies. i scooped her up a few months after they broke up. not very romantic.

How did you know he/she was “the one”?
Its easy to know when the other person is also your best friend.

Please, tell us about the proposal!
I think you can find a video of our proposal here. basically i made tshirts that spelled out “will u marry me”. handed them out during my friends during birthday party. then i asked adrin to take a photo of me and my friend. BAM. over shirts came off to reveal the message with me in the middle with the ring.

Anything special about the engagement shoot or why you chose the location you did?
We thought traditional photoshoots were boring, so we decided to tell a story. our story is a treasure hunt, but in the end the treasure was our love.
