Okay, get ready for complete cuteness. Really, I’ll give you a moment, just in case you have a case of the Monday morning grumpies. Because this wedding is just about as sweet as it gets. Expect tons of adorable DIY projects, lots of bright colors, and a sweet table that is going to make you reach for the donuts today. Christa and Beaux were married at a Medford, OR farm and this rustic affair was captured by the lovely Becki Walker Photography.

How did you come up with your theme?
Even before we were engaged, one night during a dinner date, we were looking at the plates in Christa’s kitchen and realized that the color scheme would make a very fun and cheery wedding. We talked about it and agreed that those would be wonderful for our future wedding. Once we got engaged, we still loved the plates, and just went from there. We also really wanted an outside wedding with a barn. Once we found the barn, we brought in more rustic pieces. The whole wedding was really done one step at a time, and we just aimed for the fun and rustic look. It was so amazing to finally see all of the little pieces come together on the big day! Everything turned out better than we could have imagined.
Who helped you?
We did all of the browsing, deciding, and planning together. We made sure that we fully agreed on everything for our special day and had so much fun together. Once decisions were made, we passed most of our ideas on to friends and family. Jenny, the mother of the bride, worked for six months on projects for the wedding almost every evening and brought our ideas to life. Other friends and family members helped along the way, and we never could have done it all without them! So many people stepped in, offered help, and contributed with their many talents! This also kept our wedding more personal, more unique, and less expensive!
Was most of it DIY?
Absolutely!!! We wanted this wedding to reflect our relationship and be unique to who we are. We also had very specific plans and ideas that never could have been purchased, and if so, the costs would have been way too high. Almost every single part of the wedding and reception was DIY. It took time, but was so fun in the process and well worth it in the end as it made our day even more meaningful!
