Newport, Rhode Island is one of the great wedding destinations in New England, and Castle Hill Inn is one its most beautiful wedding venues.  Photographed by Armor and Martel, this wedding is the perfect example of a classic, outdoor ceremony and reception, Newport-style.  The ceremony set up takes full advantage of the inn’s incredible view of Narragansett Bay, and details like the full, blue hydrangea hanging from guest chairs are a great example of how local, seasonal flowers look right at home when they’re in their own element.

Bride and groom, Jenny and Trevor, chose the charming image of a tandem bicycle for their invitations, since bikes played an important part in their relationship.  As a surprise to the couple and a way to carry along the theme, Jenny’s sister bought a tandem bike at an auction, brought it with her to Castle Hill, and the wedding party decorated it with flowers, tin cans, and a “Just Married” sign.  Jenny said one of their best memories of the day is watching their guests take the bike for a spin at the reception.
