Kelly and Domenic, had a rock ‘n’ roll wedding of epic proportions. They even used vinyl records for lots of different things, including chargers under the dinner plates, center pieces, table numbers, the flower girl’s bowl of petals. Their invitations were concert tickets made by TicketMaster, the place cards were very rock-inspired, even their wedding cake was topped with a ’45. From the bride, Kelly:
We wanted to be frugal and do some things ourselves. The Cass House is an excellent venue for so many reasons. For starters, they only use Unlimited Events as their rental company for all of the chairs, linens, tent, and dinnerware etc, which made things nice and easy for two very indecisive kids. The chef at the Cass House, Jensen, comes up with an extraordinarily savory meal cooked with local ingredients and fresh vegetables and herbs plucked from the garden on site. He was quite the master of including fruit and angel food cake for the wedding cake. As well as making bacon and lavender truffles, citrus chews, and creme puff petit fours for the dessert bar. Since the location was so lush, we didn’t need to have many flowers but enjoyed working with Lara at Harbor Floral Studio to design the ceremony site with hanging flower balls and rose petals on the aisle. Everything came together that day, as we knew it would! We truly enjoyed listening to all of our favorite music at our music/concert inspired wedding with our closest family and friends. We both have a love for music and enjoy watching live music of various genres together as often as we can. We knew we wanted to make it a part of our wedding celebration day!
