These tiny little plants will be easy for even out-of-town guests to take home. They are easy to grow too!

Supplies:
2″ Irish moss plants (order ahead of time from a florist or plant nursery)
cotton fabric
twine
scissors
an old box
plant markers
waterproof sharpie

1. Tear about a 4″ x 4″ piece of fabric. Frayed edges are good.

2. Wrap the pot and secure with twine. Don’t worry about it being perfect. Just be sure and cover the plastic pot.

3. Write the name or name and table number of each guest and poke it into the plant.

4. Display in an old cigar box!
Tips:
Spray the plants with water so they look clean and fresh! Water the plants before you wrap them by dunking them in a bucket of water and letting them drip dry. If you are worried about the fabric getting wet, wrap a small piece of plastic or cellophane around the bottom of the plant before you wrap it in fabric.
