This morning I realized just how long it has been since I bought a pair of new earrings. Criminal! A quick trip to Etsy will totally remedy that, won’t it? Here is some bead and floral goodness from September Willow. I think the floral resin jewelry is such a great look for bridesmaids at a vintage wedding. The colors stand out enough to show up in pictures, and the over all feel is very romantic. As for me, I think I will be picking up a pair of her oxblood hoops (below).
While it is always nice to have a jewelry box full of classic pieces, sometimes you also need to have a little fun. I love the whimsy of RareIndeed‘s accessories. This bunting necklace (above) screams summer bridal shower, right?
I’m probably dating myself, but this pencil brooch totally reminds me of “Picture Pages” with Bill Cosby.
Remember when you first pierced your ears and had a collection full of awesome studs?
A rocket to the moon? Beyond cute.
“Oz: The Great and Powerful” is coming out soon and I could not be more excited.
Who doesn’t want to be made of win?
1. Tiffany Necklace
Surprise your bridesmaids and your maid of honor with a beautiful, sustainable and organic pearl necklace. The cultivation of pearls requires the preservation of the ecosystem. The water must be pristine, the land around it must be undisturbed and the air clean. The slightest change in water temperature, salinity, pollution and current can kill the oysters. In fact, the cultivation of pearls is the only industry that requires man to preserve and protect the environment.
2. Grand Marnier Lollipops
These lovely lollies have a pretty sheen to them. The Grand Marnier, an orange-flavored brandy liqueur, stands on its own, full of sunny lusciousness. Real, edible 23K gold sprinkled into the candy mixture adds to the beautiful aesthetic quality of this lollipop, creating an elegant favor for your wedding!
3. Cape Sundew Nail Polish

Garnets and diamonds are the perfect gemstones for holiday outfits! The shimmer of the diamonds lend to any sparkly outfit, and the deep red of the garnet adds a touch of holiday cheer. Blue Nile
is here to show us great garnet and diamond jewelry options. For example, this ring
(above) would beautifully complement any cocktail dress, but the garnet would also stand out well against winter white cowl-neck sweaters or camel-colored wool pea coats.
Just because these earrings (above, left
) are simple, doesn’t mean they are boring. These jewelry staples can stand on their own as classics, or be added to an outfit with a lot of print or dazzle without complicating it. Dress them up with a silver swing dress for a mod look, or go more casual with a black cashmere sweater set.
are ideal for the romantic traditionalist. Their vintage-inspired shape and design would be best paired with a boat-neck dress à la
Grace Kelly. A creamy neutral would make the garnet pop, whereas a darker color, like navy or forest green would deepen the garnet’s shade.
This garnet drop necklace
is the perfect touch for dresses and sweaters with a low-cut or wide neckline. Show off your neck with a slimming v-neck sheath dress, or wear with an open collar white shirt and cigarette pants for a sophisticated, yet everyday look.

Many jewelry artisans have turned to the art of upcycling items such as spoons and forks and setting stones in the blank spaces between their intricate designs. Check out websites such as Etsy or Artfire for handcrafted artisan jewelry made from old silverware if you don’t have the time to get creative!
Because their surfaces are already so ornately decorated, spoons, forks and knives have a beautiful background to play around with when adding stones, beads or other designs.
Are you a DIY bride? If you have a bunch of tarnished spoons, clean them off and use them as neat pendants for necklaces, curl and bend them into bracelets or create funky earrings from elegant spoon handles.
